While I was shopping over the holiday, I came across this pastel tunic by Mossimo. I fell in love with the many pastel colors incorporated into this tunic. Plus, I can wear this tunic all year, it is long enough to wear as a dress and for $24.99, I could buy two!

Like your sunglasses!
ReplyDeleteGreat look! I love the mix of soft/pastel and textured/teal.
ReplyDeleteYou found a beauty here, Carrie! Lovely colors and shape. I don't wear much pastel but I will have to look at some soft blue for Spring, I think. Oh, and I thought "Lincoln" was terrific; will add "The Impossible" to my must-see list : >
ReplyDeleteLincoln is on my list as well!
DeleteOoooh, I love that tunic and have been hoping to see it on someone in blogland. I don't know why I haven't tried it on yet myself - now I will. GREAT dress for spring too.
ReplyDeleteAnd and annnd...the hubby and I almost saw The Impossible yesterday, but at the last minute decided to see Life of Pi instead, which was incredible and amazing and emotional and beautiful. Still, I can't wait to see The Impossible too. I loves me some Ewan McGregor. Glad to hear it was a good one!
merci,
Shan
Life of Pi is on my list also, so many movies so little time :)
DeleteThe top is gorgeous. You really interpreted this trend beautifully!
ReplyDeleteI love the combination of pastels with the "winter/fall" colors of teal and congac. A fun way to get a bit of spring feeling even when there's snow on the ground.

So refreshing to find pastel in the dead of winter. Love how you winterized it with scarf & boots!
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to follow using the google connect? It's saying NOT Found, error 404. Wonder why? I am able to do it on other blogs...
Hmm, I am going to check that out right now.

I love pastels! All of them! And I love how you've added the rich teal scarf and boots to such a springy item. It looks great. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy recent movie faves include The Hobbit which was amazing and Looper which had an incredible surprise ending - (unfortunately it also had a lot of cussing and violence, so if you don't like that sort of thing you won't like it.)
I haven't heard about Looper I will have to check that out.
DeleteI love your long tunic top over that amazing infinity scarf. I'm not a huge fan of pastels for myself. I prefer neutral colors. Pastels and my olive skin just don't seem to mix.
ReplyDeleteGreat style! Love your hair too. Saw your link from lilyamongthornsblog.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteLove that thick scarf just really pops and sets the mood for the outfit.

The pastels really look modern the way you're wearing them. The darker but related solids work to ground your look and keep the pastels away from sweetness. Nice textures, too, and the scarf is genius. You have the best eye, Carrie!
ReplyDeleteWe're trying to catch as many Academy Award nominees as we can before the Big Day ... want to see Lincoln, Le Mis if we can.
Just sat through the three hours of The Hobbit ... so happy I enjoyed it!
I think my fave is lavender...Peach looks uber pretty on you!
