The Romper

Happy Monday, and happy official summer break for me! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I was able to get to a few garage sales and I purchased a few vintage items that may be used in future posts. Every summer, I have grand plans for getting that to do list accomplished, but this summer I have a couple of great trips planned also. One is a weekend trip to New York City, and I would love my readers to give me any suggestions of places I must go while I am there. In this post, I am wearing a taupe and black romper from Dorothy Perkins. Some characteristics that I love about this romper are the contrasting black and taupe colors,  the peplum, and the fabulous long zipper in the back. This is my first item purchased from an international company and when I got it  I thought they sent me the wrong size. Then I realized, silly me, it was the European size (hehe). Rompers I know are not for everyone, but this season there are some great ones if you are willing to give them a try.

Here are a few rompers that I selected. I think they have a more feminine, dressier feel. I would love to hear if you have a favorite.

  1. Now this is cute and classic. I have seen a few in Target that looked too young for me but I do like this one. And the length is perfect! Love your hair!

I've never been able to find a romper / jumpsuit that actually fits me but I like the concept
