Hello everybody, sure glad to back. My computer had some little technical difficulties, but thanks to my hubby everything is back. I am ready to be back in the swing of things. My brother Kevin helped revamp my blog. While it is still in flux, I 'm rather happy with additional of my new social media buttons. These are a great way to follow my blog. They have been on my to-do list forever, so mission accomplished. Over the weekend, I wore this outfit to our friends summer bash. This outfit may seem relatively simple or basic- white tank and gray jeans, but my style is in the details. For example, the tank top is angled and has slits. Also, my H&M skinny jeans have zippers on the pockets and a tad of acid wash. When you are putting an outfit together, always add those little details to make it your own! On a separate subject, I read an interesting article over the weekend which listed the top five regrets people communicated just prior to passing away. As off topic as this seems, it truly puts things in perspective as I really try to live my life with no regrets. This list just helps reiterate what is truly important, and precious our time here really is. They are :
- I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expect of me.
- I wish I hadn't worked so hard.
- I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
- I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
- I wish that I had let myself be happier.
From this list, there is possibly only one I need to continue to work on. That being item 4 on list. There are a few friends that need to know how much they mean to me. Out of these five, are there any you can relate to? Here is another interesting article about stopping to smell the roses. Scientific Reason to Stop and Smell the Roses

ReplyDeleteThanks Marcy, miss you also.
DeleteCan't do better than simplicity. That tank is far from ordinary ...lovely drape and pretty dressy for a little white top. You jeans look sleek, and more than everyday wear. And your jewelry and watch and sunnies. So, pretty much put together, I'd say, all set to party.
ReplyDeleteWe all missed your face, Carrie!
Dan just turned 65, and I'm right behind him, so I'd say I wish #2 wasn't so much of a necessity!
